CA exams study effectively

Hello friends,

Being a CA student is not easy. You need to study hard to pass the CA exams. But, sometimes you fail to study effectively. You fail to concentrate on your studies.

DON’T WORRY… I am here with 8 tips that will surely help you study effectively for the CA exams:

  1. Set Small Targets– Choose a topic that can complete within 45 minutes or 1 hour. If you choose a long topic, then break it into parts in the way that each part completes within an hour. Setting smaller targets help you avoid boredom during study.
  2. Take Breaks– While moving from one topic to another , take a short break of 10-15 minutes to refresh yourself.
  3. Avoid Sticking To 1 Big Topic For The Whole Day– If you choose to study a topic that’s lengthy and time consuming, don’t study that topic continuously as you will not be able to study it effectively. Rather, study that topic for some time (like an hour) and then switch to a different smaller topic that can complete within 15-20 minutes. After that, again come to your previous topic. This way, you can study that lengthy topic effectively without getting bored and you will also be satisfied that you are completing small topics in between.
  4. Avoid Distractions– Today’s biggest distraction is mobile phone and social media. So, while studying, make sure to keep away your mobile phones and put them on silent mode. Also, try to choose a calm place to study.
  5. Study Together But Not In Groups– Yes, If you plan to do group study with your friends at one place, you may get distracted easily. You may involve in gossip. So, to avoid such distractions, talk to your friends and plan to study same topic at a same time. After completing the topic, discuss the queries with each other over a phone call. This way you will get a feeling that you are not studying alone and you will not be distracted with your friend’s presence. CA Exams
  6. Make Notes– While studying, make summary notes in the form of charts, tables, bullets, abbreviations, or in any other manner you like. These summary notes will help you at the time of your CA exams when you don’t have enough time to study each and everything.
  7. Revision– Revise as many times as you can. Revise the complicated topics frequently. Revise the concepts, formulae, points for which you made abbreviations, important due dates, etc. for a better grip in your subjects.
  8. Take Care Of Yourself– Eat good food, drink enough water, sleep well, walk in fresh air, do some physical activity. For effective study, you need to concentrate and for that, you need to stay healthy both physically and mentally.
